Here's the green list that you might aspire to:
1. Live at a central location near all amenities you desire. 2. Compost - most things can end up this way. 3. Get all bills sent electronically. 4. Use wind-up torches. 5. Get rechargeable batteries for digital cameras. 6. Drive a fuel efficient vehicle. 7. Use a programmable thermostat to automatically turn down the heat at night. 8 of The Most Useful Numbers I've Put in My Mobile Phone (from Axis Telecom)
To be well prepared you should add certain numbers to your mobile phone, in case of emergency and also as a great time saver. We list some of the numbers that you are likely to need on your travels.
1: Home: just in case you lose your phone, someone might call you to let you know, you never know your luck.
2: Credit Card Hotline: if your wallet is nicked, call the hotline. We like companies like Sentinel. One call does it all. Makes the pain a little easier when that dreaded moment happens.
3: Car Insurance: to call after being in or witnessing an accident, after 999, of course. 4: Your neighbour. OK, you trust your neighbour with your key perhaps? You need to get hold of them in an emergency!
5: The AA or RAC. Easier than carrying the card, but remember that you may need to show the card anyway! Check up on this.
6: Make it easy for the emergency services - in the contacts section under AA list your first name as "MY-NAME-IS" and surname as "YOUR-FULL-NAME"
7: Taxi: just in case you have an unexpected drink. Don't Drink & Drive.
8. The school. No explanation needed!
Hope you get time to add these to your phone today. http://www.red-flag.co.uk Axis Telecom newsletter 18274 |

Axis Telecom: mobile broadband for all the family and business users alike. Axis telecom provides sensible telecoms solutions for home and business users alike. You can really save alot of cash by using the same phone for your home and phone broadband. Does this really work? Well, to some extent it depends on the absolute speed of your internet connection required. 3G is fast, but it is not as quick as cable. Most people do not require very fast connections, so it depends on your circumstances. If you are a programmer or software developer, you will not be able to use a 3G connection for your business use as it would not be quick enough, but for most people 3G is absolutely fine. 3G is available in most cities in the UK, but not in all towns at present. You can check your 3G coverage in your area online. Check out the axis telecom site for more information.
